๐Ÿš€ ALS v1.0 โ€” The Big One!

ALS v1.0 is coming! With flat calibration support, Astro Live Stacker becomes feature-complete. Preview builds available now!

Itโ€™s finally happening.
After years of pixel-pushing, photon-wrangling, and late-night debugging under the stars, Astro Live Stacker is soon reaching version 1.0 โ€” our first truly feature-complete release. ๐Ÿฅณ

๐ŸŒŒ Whatโ€™s new?

The highlight of this milestone: flat calibration.
Yep, the long-awaited ability to correct your subs using master flats is here โ€” and it completes the calibration suite alongside master darks. With this, ALS officially checks all the boxes weโ€™d dreamed of when the project began.

๐Ÿ”ญ Why it matters

This is more than โ€œjust another release.โ€
Itโ€™s a turning point: ALS now covers the full live-stacking workflow from capture to calibrated, stacked, and stretched images โ€” all in real time, all open-source, all cross-platform.

๐Ÿงช Want to try it early?

Curious stargazers can already get their hands on preview builds and put the new flat calibration through its paces:

Feedback, bug reports, or even โ€œhey, it worked!โ€ messages are all welcome. You can drop your thoughts in our usual channels โ€” every bit of feedback helps polish the final 1.0 release.

โค๏ธ Thanks, everyone

This journey wouldnโ€™t have been possible without the testers, contributors, and the community that kept believing that live stacking could be both powerful and fun.

So, fire up your gear, grab a few flats, and help us make ALS v1.0 shine.
The skyโ€™s the limit โ€” literally. ๐ŸŒ
